On a sun-soaked day filled with love and romance, Melina and Michalis declared their eternal love for each other in a heartfelt ceremony held at the picturesque Agios Georgios Church. Their story is one of destiny, of two souls whose paths crossed once and then miraculously again, 15 years later. Today, we're absolutely thrilled to take you through their special day, showcasing their enchanting wedding trailer that captured all the emotions that unfolded.
From the start, Melina and Michalis envisioned their wedding as an outdoor summer celebration with a romantic, bohemian vibe. They chose their venue with immense love; an idyllic place where they could build their dream wedding from scratch. And that they did, with an effortlessly chic, elegant, stylish boho, and vintage aura surrounding the day.
Their journey began as university mates, with a connection so pure that it remained undiminished by time and distance. When Michalis proposed, it was with a touch of comedy that perfectly symbolizes their fun-loving relationship: attempting to tie the ring around their dog Flash's neck, only for it to fall as Melina opened the door, and a joyous “I do!” followed.
Why are they getting married? In their words, it’s because they “won't find somebody else to tolerate us.” Michalis is Melina's counterpart, an open-hearted man with childlike sensitivity. Melina, described as crazy, sexy, strong, selfish, and romantic, stands as Michalis' rock, always there in times of need.
A heartfelt ceremony, a couple's photo session that was high on their priority, and an entrance into the Secret Valley Golf Course that was nothing short of spectacular. Their first dance to Sia’s ‘Snowman’ was a touching scene, as they swayed in each other’s arms under the starry night.
Their preparations in Anarita, Paphos, were laid-back yet buzzing with excitement. The talented Stephanie Soteriou enhanced Melina’s natural beauty with her makeup artistry. The floral arrangements by Red Rose were breathtaking, infusing the venue with earthy, bohemian colors that complemented the couple’s aesthetic perfectly. Their joyful moments were frozen in time by the skilled team at Photo Experts, making sure every smile and tear was documented.
The journey from the church to the venue was magical and filled with dreamy landscapes, a special request from the couple to be captured. As they embarked on this journey, not just down the scenic roads of Paphos, but through life, their love and joy were palpable.
