An Enchanting Celebration
Demetra is an actress. Christodoulos is a musician and DJ. When they were choosing a venue, Demetra chose the Royal. An old converted cinema in Nicosia. She chose it because she is an actress. Christodoulos already knew it from the inside, from all the years he had worked there.
The proposal happened at home. They were watching a wedding dress catwalk on television. He told her her dress would be better. Then he gave her the ring.
The day had its own logic. Accordion music outside the church before the ceremony began. A red retro Porsche for Demetra’s arrival. Christodoulos in a red boudoir suit. A jazz band inside. Fairy lights, boudoir colours, RSVP decor. A photoshoot across three Nicosia locations before the evening.
