A Wedding Built on Faith, Heart and Honest Emotion

There’s a special kind of love that doesn’t rush. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t try to impress anyone. It just grows… quietly, steadily, faithfully. That’s Rafael and Victoria. You feel it the moment you see them together. Everything about them has intention. Purpose. A sense that they aren’t just in love, they’re building something that matters.

Their story started way back in high school, with jokes, teasing, and the kind of chemistry everyone else sees except the two people living it. They liked each other then, but life had its own timing. Years passed. They lived separate lives. And then one night, out of nowhere, Rafael saw her across a room and remembered every reason he liked her in the first place. Sometimes love doesn’t happen the first time. Sometimes it comes back when you’re finally ready to handle it.

Their wedding morning carried that exact feeling. Rafael surrounded by tradition, family, emotion, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you realise this day isn’t just a party, it’s a blessing. Victoria’s morning was quieter. A little nervous. A little dreamy. And then she opened Rafael’s letter. A private one. No cameras inside those words. Just her holding his heart on paper. She cried, and everyone around her felt that moment. You didn’t need to hear what he wrote. You could feel it.

The church was everything to them. Their priest wasn’t performing a ceremony. He was guiding two people he knows, respects, and has walked with. Rafael kept taking deep breaths. Victoria held her emotions close and then let them show. Every prayer, every candle, every blessing… this was the core of their day. Two people standing in front of God, promising their future, not because it’s tradition, but because it’s truth.

Charidio was the perfect continuation of their story. Black and white. Vintage details. Soft light everywhere. A touch of old-money elegance mixed with warmth. Rafael had fallen in love with the long entrance walkway from the beginning, and when they walked down it together to Bombastic, you could tell he’d imagined that moment a hundred times. It was fun, bold, and full of personality.

Their first dance? Beautiful. A Finnish song. A choreography filled with intention — a little emotional, a little poetic, entirely theirs. And then the room exploded. The dancefloor didn’t rest for a single second. Friends, family, everyone moved like they had been waiting all year for this party.

And then came the part that will go down as legend: somewhere around midnight, a trolley rolled onto the dancefloor stacked with 130 McDonald’s burgers. People screamed. People dove. Those burgers disappeared faster than the photographer’s shutter. And somewhere in Larnaca, there’s an employee who will never forget the moment he received a 130-burger order at midnight. I’m convinced he stared at the screen for a full minute, wondering if it was a prank. 😂

Filming Rafael and Victoria felt like filming a story that was already written in a deeper place. Faith matters to them. Family matters. Slow living. Choosing each other, protecting each other, and dreaming together. Their wedding wasn’t about fancy moments. It was about meaningful ones. A raw, emotional, beautiful day that showed exactly who they are.

And for me, that’s the kind of story that stays. Not because it was perfect, but because it was real in all the right ways.
